Untapped: Leading Edge is out with a new report assessing the “State of Jewish Nonprofit Talent.” From surveys of over 200 CEOs, over 3,000 people outside the sector, and over 13,000 current Jewish nonprofit employees, the report concludes that the Jewish nonprofit sector is not fully tapping the potential of its employees. Democracy & Safety: The Shofar Report by the Nexus Project aims to combat antisemitism in a new way—by connecting the fight for democracy with the fight for Jewish safety. “People think that we need to fight antisemitism and then, as a separate matter, you need to fight the weaponization of antisemitism,” says Nexus National Director Jonathan Jacoby. And we’re saying fighting the weaponization of antisemitism is a strategy for fighting antisemitism.”

Jews on Antisemitism and Trump: a new survey by University of Rochester, University of California, and Ipsos finds, Jewish Americans Worry About Antisemitism, But View Trump’s Attack on Universities as Disingenuous.
Jewish University Students around the World: The ADL and the World Union of Jewish Students released a Global Survey of Jewish University Student Experiences highlighting reports of threats, self-sensorship and accommodations related to their Jewish identity.
Anti-Jewish and Israel Bias: The ADL and the Academic Engagement Network (AEN) released, Faculty Under Fire: Antisemitism and Anti-Israel Bias in Higher Education. The survey respondents described “patterns of hostility, institutional inaction, and personal tolls that merit immediate attention.”
Gaza Disagreement: JPPI released its Voice of the Jewish People Index for August 2025: Disagreement over expanding the operation in Gaza.
Groundbreaking Sephardic/Mazrahi Study: JIMENA (Jews Indigenous to the Middle East and North Africa) released the first-of-its-kind study, Sephardic & Mizrahi Jews in the United States: Identities, Experiences, and Communities. Dr. Mijal Bitton at New York University led this wide-ranging and thorough study of a population that comprises 10% of the American Jewish population.
Jewish Inhibition on Campus: Eric Kaufman, Professor of Politics at The University of Buckingham and Director of the Centre for Heterodox Social Science, released a new report on the ways in which Jewish college students at Ivy League schools are increasingly suppressing their views. Hillel Tracks Antisemitism: Hillel International’s report finds antisemitism on campus is at its highest rate ever.
